Teletherapy: Health and Accessibility

My practice offers teletherapy sessions for individuals and couples. My request for our community health in my practice is if you (or I) are experiencing illness symptoms, we can switch to online therapy for that period.

Teletherapy has become a useful way to meet the current mental health needs in the community and provide continuity of care

Teletherapy means using computers (or smart phones) and secure, interactive videoconferencing platforms to provide psychological services. I have long-standing teletherapy procedures in place (please see my Teletherapy page for more information about this medium).

For those who need some assistance in connecting with services, I am committed to a social justice model and offer some sliding scale fee appointments for those who want to discuss them. I am not in-network with any insurance panels. If you need some assistance with insurance, I can help you with using out-of-network benefits for other insurance plans. Individual plans do vary so it’s useful to find out more about your individual plan. If you need some guidance about how to use insurance benefits, please see my Fees & Insurance page or contact your insurance carrier for details about your specific plan.
